With new songs, characters, scenery, and an original scenario, Tsuraran's mod Salty's Sunday Night totally revamps the original Friday Night Funkin'. Three of the tracks are remixes of original Maqua compositions; the majority of the songs, the charts, and the mod's graphics were all made by Tsuraran.
There appears to be work underway on a remastered version of the mod that will bring all of the OST songs up to date, add conversation beyond Week 6, revamp the characters, and wrap up the main story.
Sunday night gang activity takes place in an old arcade cabinet hidden away in Daddy Dearest's basement. After regaining his memories, "Salty," the final captive soul, sets out to discover a way out of the machine.

The protagonist in Salty's Sunday Night is Salty. He is the final soul imprisoned in the arcade, and together with Itsumi, he sets out to escape the machine once his memories return.
